2001 Tournament Music

VolleyPalooza is all about having fun, and the model beach volleyball tournament is only part of the weekend. During the tournament, superstar DJ Mark Leventhal kept the crowd's energy high with a blend of classics and hip modern music. On Saturday when the teams were not playing, the following live performances turned this year's VolleyPalooza into a giant dance floor.
Mya 
R&B superstar Mya (www.myamya.com) brought her incredible voice and stage presence to South Beach with a live performance at VolleyPalooza on Saturday, February 24. Born in Washington D.C., Mya has worked her way to the top of the music world with many charismatic performances and recordings. She has collaberated with industry-leading talent like Babyface and Dru Hill, and has a long list of television appearances including BET, MTV, Soul Train, and the Jay Leno show. Her credits also include the top selling CDs "Mya" and "Fear of Flying".
soulDecision 
Ken Lewko, Trevor Guthrie, and David Bowman formed soulDecision (www.souldecision.com) in Vancouver, Canada in 1994. Since then, they have become one of the world's leading groups, with highly popular recordings including the CD "No One Does It Better", major performances such as on MTV and at the 2001 Orange Bowl, and sold out tours. soulDecision performed live at VolleyPalooza on Saturday, February 24.
