2003 Tournament

 The Dodge 10th annual VolleyPalooza model beach volleyball tournament, presented by Ocean Drive Magazine, NBC television channel 6, and Y-100 radio, was held February 8th and 9th, 2003. Given this was the 10th annual tournament, it was a special one. The weather was perfect for both days of play, and the event proved once again it is the most incredible beach volleyball tournament played anywhere.
 Master-of-ceremonies Rick Delgado kept the event organized and made sure the crowd had a highly memorable weekend. As always, the tournament featured fabulous volleyball played by some of the best looking models in the industry. In addition, Saturday featured a live performance by the band O-Town (www.o-town.com), and Tommy Davidson brought his unique comedy to the stage on Sunday.
The four semi-finalist teams were Ford, The Green Agency, ATG, and The Talent Group. All four teams earned the right to participate in the 1st Annual Ocean Drive Magazine and Kalik Challenge in Nassau, Bahamas, March 28-30.
The final three matches were hard-fought, with ATG beating Ford, and then The Talent Group beating The Green Agency. The final was a best-of-three match, with the first two games going to 15 points, and the third game (if needed) going to 7 points. The Talent Group won the first game, but then got behind 14-10 in the second game. But they returned to their previous form and took the game to a 14-14 tie. Then then won the next point to go 15-14, but had to make a miraculous out-of-bounds save to win the tournament.
The Talent Group accepted the first place trophy, and ATG accepted the second place trophy. But all of the teams in this year's tournament were winners.
